OBIEE Installation Part 7(High Availablity Configuration) !!
Hi Guys,
Post 7, in the series of OBIEE Installation.
In this post configuring High availablity for OBIEE 11g.
Steps:
Creating one share directory in obiee01.hussain.net and mounting the same in obiee02.hussain.net using NFS file system.
Sharing directores are :
- RPD directory.
- Catalog directory.
- BI Scheduler directory.
- BI Pubilisher repository directory.
Now login in EM console of OBIEE and give then information shared directories of RPD, Catalog.
Now give the shared directory information of BI Scheduler scripts in instanceconfig.xml file
In the BI Xmlpserver give the shared directory of bipublisher respository.
Now scale out OBIEE configuration for High availability:
Configure the scalability options of OBIEE system components:
Configure LB url of the OBIEE servers for BI Scheduler configuration.
Checking all the consoles of OBIEE:
